Here comes the ranking list! Unveiling the Top 10 finalists in biomedical field for 2022 Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Innovation Competition

It is jointly sponsored by Zhongguancun Hi-tech Industry Promotion Center, Beijing Changping District Science & Technology Committee, Beijing Future Science City Management Committee, Zhongguancun Life Science Park Management Committee, Beijing Changping District Investment Promotion Center and Zhongguancun Frontier Technology and Industry Service Alliance, and organized by Beijing Changping District Technology Achievement Conversion Service Center.
Part of Zhongguancun Forum, Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Innovation Competition is also a platform for external interaction and competition for international frontier technology involving artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, big data, cloud computing and biomedicine with an eye for frontier technology trends for medical health, quantum computing, brain science and digital economy. A batch of startup teams and enterprises with state-of-the-art and world-leading technologies around the world have been invited to freely explore, through public roadshows, the means to promote their achievements and achieve commercialization in Zhongguancun. The objective is to drive the development of various sub-parks according to the specialty, enhance the level of innovation of pilot frontier technologies in Zhongguancun and build an innovation-driven ecosystem beneficial for the development of frontier technology, so as to accelerate the construction of world's leading science parks and hence support the building of Beijing as an international technology and innovation center.

Beijing's biomedical industry has been growing rapidly in recent years, with the number of approved innovative products being the highest among those approved nationally. Biomedical enterprises are converging in the city, with bellwether enterprises ready to emerge from among them. Biomedical parks such as Zhongguancun Life Science Park will become the core based on where major technological infrastructure for frontier research will be built, playing host to experts and academicians in their respective fields so as to give powerful support to research and technological innovation in the biomedical industry.
In all, 15 projects were presented during the Competition. They include integrated solution for precision treatment of cancers, and research results and commercialization of long-acting metabolic proteins. The panel of judges consisted of 11 experts from tertiary education institutions, investment companies and leading enterprises. Following thorough evaluation and fair scoring, ten projects including Beijing Zhenzhi Medical Technology Co., Ltd and Beijing Maigesong Biotechnology Co. Ltd were successfully included in the Top 10 for biomedical industry in the 2022 Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Innovation Competition.
